TALA'A ALBADRU ... Our Truly Song

طَلَعَ الْبَدْرُ عَلَيْنَا
مِنْ ثَنِيَّاتِ الْوَدَاع
وَجَبَ الشُّكْرُ عَلَيْنَا
مَا دَعَا ِللهِ دَاع
ta 'la al badru 'alayna,
min thaniyyatil wada ',
wajabash-shukru 'alayna,
ma da 'aa lillahi daa '

O the white moon rose over us,
from the valley of Wada,
and we owe it to show greatfullness,
where the call is to Allah.

أيُّهَا الْمَبْعُوْثُ فِيْنَا
جِۂْتَ بِالْأمْرِ الْمُطَاع
جِۂْتَ شَرَّفْتَ الْمَدِيْنَه
مَرْحَبًا يَا خَيْرَ دَاع

ayyuhal mab 'uthu feena
ji' ta bil amril muta '
ji 'ta sharraftal Madeenah
marhaban ya khayra da '

O You who were raised amongst us,
SallAllahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam,
coming with a work to be obeyed,
You (SallAllahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam)
have brought to this city nobleness,
Welcome (O) Best caller to God's way.
